Our classic car weathervanes are electroplated with a layer of zinc to help protect against rust, and finished in a very hard wearing but traditional looking black powder coat. All of these designs work perfectly, spinning into the wind as it changes direction, so as well as being decorative, they are also a functional tool for reading the weather.
