This weathervane features a Schnauzer standing in side profile -  a wonderful addition to the home of anyone who owns this popular breed.

I love Schnauzers for their beard and expressive eyebrows; they remind me of little grumpy old men! A versatile breed, German in origin, they have historically been used for tasks as diverse as pest control, guard dogs, herding livestock and even pulling small carts. Despite this wroking heritage they are known for being great family dogs, gentle with children. The breed comes in miniature, standard and giant versions, each with the same distinctive wire coat and sturdy build.

Each piece is carefully made to order from our workshop in the Scottish Borders; nothing is imported or mass produced. The powder coat finish is baked on, giving our weathervanes a timeless, traditional appearance that can be enjoyed and appreciated for many years to come.

Designed and crafted entirely in the UK, Black Fox Metalcraft's weathervanes are all electroplated as standard, meaning their lifespan will be significantly longer than that of a non electroplated version.
