Art Deco Sun Hanging Basket Bracket

A stunning hand forged hanging basket bracket featuring an Art Deco sun motif. Cut in 3 mm steel, the chunky art deco sun design acts as a decorative support to the hand forged arm of the bracket. Tapered and hammered into an elegant hook using our coal forge and anvil, the 10mm square bar arm extends 32 cm and is more than capable of taking the weight of a very heavy basket. 

The Art Deco movement earned widepsread attention during the 1920s and 1930s as a reaction to the first world war and a desire for a new outlook. It's stylish, bold geometric shapes are remeiniscent of aspects of movements as diverse as Cubism, Art Nouveau, Bauhaus and Constructivism. Art Deco style embodies luxury and quality; a desire for glamour following the horrors of the war.
