MGTD Weathervane

An MG MGTD weathervane; this small sports car was produced in Oxfordshire from the early 1950s, following on from the immediately post war MGTC. The MGTD was built in part to expand the company's sales into North America; it was slightly larger and featured a left hand drive option. In the end nearly 30 000 of this model were produced, and most were exported. Aesthetically the design of the MGTD is a throwback to the styling of prewar vintage cars, but handles much better. Black Fox Metalcraft's MG weathervane design features the factory steel wheels, however spoke wheels can be easily added into this design if desired.
