Roe Deer Hanging Sign

This intricately designed hanging sign features three Roe Deer in a woodland scene; a Buck, Doe and Fawn. The woodland around the farm where Black Fox Metalcraft have their workshop is full of Roe Deer, so there was no shortage of inspiration in creating this design!  The Buck and Fawn stand alert, watching out for danger while the Doe moves to join them. The scene is framed by two trees, and the beautifully intricate undergrowth includes Ferns, one of my favourite plants to draw.

The design is cut from chunky 3mm sheet steel using a nitrogen shrouded laser - this keeps the metal cool and allows us to achieve the fine detailing that is so distinctive of our style. It is framed in box section, giving the sign extra rigidity and a robust, well made feel.

The bracket is forged by hand to match the dimensions of the sign, each scroll individually made in our coal forge. The hanging sign joins to it's bracket through six chunky sign links and stainless steel bolts, provided when you order.

The text is professionally sign written by hand on both sides of the sign; any style of writing can be used. If you do not have a preference, we use Times New Roman as standard (not pictured here) for it's readability and traditional look.
