Shooting Weather vane

A stunning and intricate shooting weather vane, designed and created in the Scottish Borders. The distinctive Fern design was drawn by hand – they’re one of my favourite plants. The weathervane depicts a realistic and detailed moorland hunting scene – the design stands out beautifully against the sky especially when the sunlight hits it.

Personalised Shooting Gifts

This shooting weather vane can be personalised to alter the build, clothing and gender of the character. Dogs of any breed can be added, and the gun can be raised or down. Black Fox metalcraft are skilled designers and are happy to work from photographs or just a brief description. We do not charge for this service, and customers are able to have as much or as little input as they like during the design process. We enjoy creating truly bespoke weathervanes that will still be enjoyed many years in the future.

Designed and crafted entirely in the UK, Black Fox Metalcraft's weathervanes are all electroplated as standard, meaning their lifespan will be significantly longer than that of a non electroplated version. The matt black powdercoat gives a traditional aesthetic, which because of the high standard of the finish, will be maintained for many years to come.
