Fox and Badger Weathervane

This Fox and Badger weathervane was inspired by the wildlife we see around where we live and work. There are badger sets all over the farm, and we've been lucky enough to capture several videos of them shuffling through our garden on our wildlife camera ; something that still amazes me having grown up in a city! I have drawn our Fox lively and bushy tailed, inspired by the rural Foxes of the Scottish Borders rather than the wily - going through the bins - city Foxes like the ones we would see in manchester! I absolutely love ferns - the shape of their fronds as they unfurl are wonderful to draw, and it shows the undergrowth of the fox and badger's woodland habitat, bringing the design together. This wind vane would make a wonderful gift for anyone who appreciates the nature we have here in Britain.

Seamlessly combining artistry with functionality, the Fox and Badger profile is carefully TIG welded to the back of the sail, perfectly balanced by a sturdy arrowhead welded at the front. This design ensures the sail turns into the wind, making it both an effective weather reading tool and a stunning decorative feature.
