Guitar and Piano Weathervane

As a keen music fan & guitarist, I really enjoyed creating this Guitar and Piano weathervane. We love how the piano swirls around the guitar organically, fading out to meet the curves of the treble clef. The design was based on a rough idea from a customer, and drawn by hand from our home here in the Scottish borders.  The fine detail of the piano keys is cut out using a nitrogen shrouded laser, minimising the risk of warping. These cut out areas also allow the weight to the match the chunky arrow head, allowing the sail to balance & meaning this music themed weathervane is a functional weather reading tool as well as a stunning decorative piece. It would be ideal for placing on top of a musicians studio or practice room!
