Forged Metal Flower

With it's two layers of narrow, elegant petals and large vibrant centre, this hand forged flower ornament was initally inspired by the shape and form of the well loved Daisy. It looks equally at home in a flower bed as an indoor pot; the natural hues of the steel are allowed to shine through the clear lacquer finish, and are the perfect companion to the greenery of your plants. You will see subtle areas of blues and purples where the metal has been heated - this is entirely natural and known as 'blueing'.

The centre of the flower is gilded using 23.5 carat gold leaf, which sparkles so beautifully when the sunlight catches it. A wonderful gift for someone who loves their garden!

The flower is approx 12 cm in diameter, and the stem is around 50 cm high. As each flower is made by hand, no two are the same. A stunning ornament for your home or garden.
